Salon Manager/Professional Groomer
Summer has been with Soapy Paws since 2007 and is the Manager. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. She is a professional groomer who also attained her certification from Oregon Pet Grooming Academy. Summer is trained in all dog breeds big and small. She is experienced grooming all breeds including the Shitzu, Lhasa Apso, Cocker Spaniel, Poodles of all sizes, Labradoodles, Maltese, Bichon and many more. She also is continually keeping her knowledge and skill updated by attending seminars and staying informed on the latest grooming procedures. In her spare time, she spends time with her 2 children and her family and friends.
Julie has been with Soapy Paws since October 2015. She received her grooming certification in 2012, and is experienced in grooming all dog breeds. Her patience and gentle spirit is what makes her special to us and why your pet will be sure to enjoy their time with her. If you are interested in fun, new styles of grooming, she is your girl. She is bringing new ideas to Soapy Paws, including dying dogs, chalking dogs and painting nails. In her spare time she enjoys gardening with her mom and watching movies and spending time with her husband Michael.
Jen has been with Soapy Paws since September 2016. However, she is not new to us. Jen worked with us a few years ago here in South Salem and in Keizer. We are happy to have her back as part of the team. She is a very gentle, experienced bather who enjoys taking the time to not only do an excellent job, but ensure your dog’s comfort with the process. Jen continues to update her skills by working closely with the groomers. If your dog needs “light” trimming, Jen is the one who will do it. She takes pride in her work and is gentle, loving and thorough. In her spare time, Jen spends time with family, especially her daughter Willow.
